The writing is very much like a college freshman is a creative writing class with who hasn't figured out more words don't make a better story. Things are overdescribed to the point of redundancy, there are very few contractions so there is no real conversation flow. It reads very robotically. I don't need to be reminded 3 times on one page that the heroine is a scientist and smart. If you can get past that the stories are ok, but mostly it's annoying.Product details

Good back story but can be a bit disjointed, spelling mistakes also make it confusing, one of the best aspects is that each story is unique and fits in with the series
I loved this whole series. Can't wait to see what comes out next.
Enjoyed reading everyone of these stories, they all had great storylines. Can't wait for more from this author.
I read these books because i bought them on sale but they werent the best the paragraphs backtracked from person to person if the man talked or the woman it gave both point of views and i have read better action and sex scenes in other books there wasnt enough details about the babies they had did they grow faster and why only males in the last story they were going to make all human males sterile but if they ,from what i read,only produce males wouldnt they still need humans to reproduce to have more human females there wasnt enough info in the stories
If you truly enjoy the mystery and beauty of love you will enjoy this series as previews. Each HEA is simultaneously similar and yet different enough to hold your interest and keep you turning pages.
Maia Starr is brilliant! This six-book boxset has it all. Courageous women, strong, brave alien warriors, action, suspense, villians and heroes, and HEAs! I was sad when I got to the last page of the last book. Not because of the way the stories ended, but because they HAD ended! This boxset leaves you wanting more!
